YWAM Provides Vital Medical Help

Written by on September 10, 2019

There is only one doctor accessible to every 20,000 people in Papua New Guinea’s Western Province.

With very few airstrips to fly in and hardly any roads, YWAM Ships is working alongside the country’s national department of health to bring vital medical help to some of the most remote parts of this province.

YWAM teams are running dental clinics, distributing prescription glasses, antenatal check ups, as well as providing thousands of much-needed immunisations.

YWAM’s volunteers work around the clock to serve in this crucial ministry in the name of Christ.
