Stories of Life

Tell YOUR positive story.
Every April for the past four years 1079Life has got behind the Stories of Life competition as it encourages people across Australia to tell their personal stories of faith and testimony.
You will have heard many of these stories read on the radio and maybe even seen one of the anthology books that are released every year featuring the best stories from the competition.
Well, it’s on again! Right now, you can be working on YOUR true story of faith and testimony. Tell the tale of those moments, little or big, when you saw the truth of God working in your world.
The best stories, as well as being published in the anthology and possibly being heard on the radio, can also win cash prizes in three categories. There is an open section, for stories up to 1500 words, the short Stories of life, up to 500 words, and the young Stories of life for people under 17.
So why not make it a family thing? Encourage each other, and encourage the world, by telling YOUR stories of life. And if you don’t think you can write, no problem! The Stories of Life website is packed with ‘how-to’ videos and encouragement from professional writing teachers.
Also, for the first time, this year there will be a feedback month, in June, when you can send in your story and have it looked at and get feedback and advice from the professional writing staff at Tabor. So what’s stopping you? Tell YOUR positive story and be part of the 2020 Stories of life. Entries close 31st of July. www.storiesoflife.net
