Play TAG with Roadies on Election Day
Written by engage on May 15, 2019
The Roadies team at 1079 Life collects plastic bread tags, sends them off to be recycled and the proceeds go to South Africa, to a group called ‘Bread tags for Wheelchairs’ who help disabled adults and children obtain much needed wheelchairs.
Polling booths at churches and halls all over Adelaide will be having sausage sizzles this Saturday. Can you imagine how many loaves of bread will be used? That’s a lot of bread tags!
If you are involved in a BBQ at a polling booth this Saturday, please help Bread Tags for Wheelchairs by scooping up all the bread tags you can and either bring them along to the Roadies on a Monday (click to see their schedule below) or drop them off to 1079 Life studios at Lumiere Lane, Hendon during business hours.
Why not also have a bread tag collection jar at your sausage sizzle table? You can print out the label below and attach it to your jar.
Help us help others and clean up Adelaide! Thank you for making a difference to the environment and to someone’s life.
Tag- you’re it!
