Cinderella- The Untold Story
Held at Tandanya Theatre
Presented by the South Australian children’s ballet company

This was not your traditional Cinderella story. This one was better! It had so many other fairytale characters including Goldilocks and The Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood and The Wolf, The Three Little Pigs, Little Bo Peep and her lost sheep, Sleeping Beauty and her seven rats, and let’s not forget The Two Ugly Sisters, The Prince and the Fairy Queen.

The ball hosted all the characters each vying for Prince Charming’s attention and hand in marriage, and the untold part of this story comes in the unexpected changing of the shoe! There was an unexpected ending for The Prince, and yet still a very happy ending for Cinderella. This was a marvellous show, well choreographed and performed by these very talented children. My niece was mesmerised the whole show, there was even a tear at Cinderella’s happy ending! Great job!

The South Australian Children’s Ballet Company have another show in September, Orphan Annie and Her Nutcracker Dream, make sure you get to see these talented kids (September 21&22 at the Norwood Concert Hall).

That 90’s Show
Held at The Highway function room
Presented by That 90’s Show

A seven piece live band helps to serenade you back to your youth, your childhood, your dream years of the 90s!
With all the hit songs from this fabulous era including Brittany Spears, the Spice Girls, Blink182, Elton John, Nirvana and Shania Twain this was a great night out for a sing-along with all your friends. The vocal ranges from all the singers was great, with an unexpected rendition of Can You Feel The Love Tonight by the keyboardist and drummer, the mood came down a little after the intermission but was brought back up with some more lively songs again to take the night out on a high.

That 90’s Show has just been brought in to play at The Big 90’s Party -McLaren Vale on the 30th March at Leconfield. This is a 90’s show to end all 90’s shows, with a whole afternoon and night dedicated just to the 90’s, obviously the best era in songs right?
