Father’s Day message from MAF
Written by engage on August 21, 2019
For over 60 years, MAF has flown over jungles, mountains, swamps and deserts to bring thousands of men, women and children medical care, emergency relief, long-term development and Christian hope.
Today MAF operates 135 aircraft in over 25 countries. Every four minutes a MAF plane takes off or lands in some of the most remote parts of the world, where flight is not a luxury, but a lifeline.
MAF Australia has produced a very entertaining video especially for Father’s Day, with the talented Colin Buchanan and a group of MAF mission children joining forces to bring joy to one and all.

We’re so thankful to long-time MAF supporter, Colin Buchanan for generously providing his time and prodigeous musical talent to record this year’s song ‘That’s what it takes to be a MAF Man!’
The song is available for you to share with your friends, community group or congregation and any funds raised will go to supporting the work of MAF Australia.
If you love the song so much that you want to perform it in your church or play along at home, you can download the sheet music hereand make it your own!
It’s what’s inside that makes the difference
This humble jerrycan carries one of our most precious resources: fuel. That’s why we need your help today.
When the equivalent of one jerrycan (just $50) gets poured into our aircraft, we are fuelled for 20 minutes of flying. For isolated communities, it replaces days of travel on foot. These short flights have saved many lives.
With your gift of fuel for Father’s Day you can be a part of this life-saving ministry.
