Written by on January 1, 2019

Bangalore, India Divya Shanthi – the place of “God’s peace” – is where babies are rescued from certain death, where young girls are saved from sexual exploitation, where children are educated, where mothers are trained and enabled so they can care for their families, where the sick and disabled are loved and assisted, where Christ is worshipped and His Name proclaimed.

From humble beginnings in 1978, today there is a baby home, children’s home, school, special needs school, women’s vocational training and employment, micro-enterprise loan scheme, four clinics, community education, five churches and three prayer centres. All the babies and children of the Divya Shanthi Homes have grown up as believers, anda numberare now in Christian ministry themselves.

From the home’s management, this message

We are in the business of making a difference in the lives of children, families and communities who have no or little support. We are in the business of changing lives of children trapped in poverty and families trapped and excluded from opportunities to better their lives, to experience normal healthy lives, to have financial security, to have adequate shelter and regular income.
