After going above and beyond, a new employee is given his CEO’s car

It’s Walter’s first day at Bellhops, a moving company, he lives 32km away, and aims to get there at 8AM.
Nothing unusual, but there’s one big difference. Walter walks to his new job.
The weekend before his first day, his car broke down. There was no time to fix it, and he couldn’t find anybody to give him a lift.
But Walter was determined, people were counting on him. So at midnight, he walked out of his house, and made his way to work.
Four hours into his journey, Walter was found by a police officer. The police officer was amazed by Walter’s story, and decided to shout him breakfast, and give him a lift the rest of the way.
At 6:30AM they arrived at Jenny Lamey’s house, who had hired Bellhops’ services.
Jenny later wrote about her experience on Facebook, and it is clear that she was astonished by the whole situation.
‘I asked Walter if he wanted to go upstairs and rest until everyone else arrived. He declined and said he could go ahead and get started. So he began working alongside Chris and I before the rest of the crew arrived.’
As you can probably see from the title, our story doesn’t end there. The story spread throughout the community, and it wasn’t missed by the CEO of Bellhops, Luke Marklin.
He was impressed and moved by Walter’s dedication to the job, and felt compelled to show his gratitude.
So Luke met with Walter in person the next day, and surprised him with the keys to his car.
Luckily for us, this gesture of kindness was caught on camera. It’s touching to see the joy on Walter’s face when he realises what is happening.
