Experience VR at SA Museum

Wow, what a treat this is! An amazing immerse experience at SA Museum on North Tce, great for adults and kids over 13.

David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef Dive VR is a fully immersive virtual reality experience. Yes, it feels like you are actually in the submersible, a mini submarine, and with other cameras being held by scuba divers, it is easy to imagine actually cruising through the stunning Great Barrier Reef – like you are really there. Here is a map of the area you explore in the experience.

The journey took us through coral ecosystems, with darting fish and reef sharks – look out for the Potato Cod! A living natural wonder of the world, the Great Barrier Reef opens up before you with David Attenborough as guide.

With our VR headsets on, which are comfortable and not too heavy, we hopped aboard the Triton, a state of the art submersible. Sitting next to David is reef expert Professor Justin Marshall and we all descend beneath the waves to explore a pristine corner of this wonder of the natural world.

Joined by a team of specialist divers and reef experts, we came face to face with the beautiful fish, incredible corals and sleek reef sharks that call this underwater paradise home.

Highly recommended!
