Life in Australia is pretty amazing when you think about it, we have the freedom to live a full life of personal growth and religious freedom. To be Christian and live free of persecution. However, some people around the world arn’t so lucky but there’s something you can do to help.
Bear in a Bag is an imitative run by Open Doors, an Australian Not for Profit that has been helping persecuted people’s follow Jesus from around the world for over 60 years.
We partner with the local church in over 70 countries to help them advance the gospel in their nation even in the face of persecution.
This year they are asking for people to donate to their latest imitative – Bear in a Bag. Bear in Bag is an initiative where every day Australian like you; can help remind a child from across the world that they are not alone buy buying and making your very own soft toy for Christian children living in a persecuted nation.
Bear In A Bag is an exciting initiative that helps remind children living in some of the most dangerous places that they’re not forgotten.
When you purchase a Bear in a Bag; you will be given all the materials you need to crochet your very own Knot Forgotten toy; which will then be delivered to a child at a partnered church. So far Bear in a Bag has delivered 3,400 bears across the world so far with a growing community of 500 bear makers from all across the world.
