Lucy & Me – A Fun Loving Fringe Show

Lucy & Me is a one-man comedy about Sphenn and Lucy, his best friend in the whole world – who happens to be a bicycle. The comedy follows the duo’s attempt to raise money for Lucy’s plane ticket as Sphenn faces deportation due to an ill-fated trip to the park.

Nicolas Angelosanto creates a captivating and entertaining show through his facial expressions and comedic timing. One of the strengths of the show is it’s unpredictability and downright silliness (in a good way). As an audience member, you have no idea what is going to happen next, from Zumba classes to knee puppets to boat rides with Lucy. He carries the show with his fantastic stage presence and light-hearted demeanor, and manages to convince the audience that Lucy is a person in her own right.

I would recommend popping in to see this show for a quirky and fun experience for the family that you won’t find anywhere else. The show is marketed as family friendly with a PG rating, although some themes could be concerning to some parents.

The show runs at Gluttony in The Bally until Sunday the 27th of February. Get tickets here!
