Bec’s Catch Up With George Mhondera

Bec recently caught up with George Mhondera to discuss his new song Not Even Once which is currently playing on Life FM. Originally from Zimbabwe, George has been involved in the music industry for over 20 years and is passionate about championing and mentoring young artists.

George has lived in a number of different countries including Germany, South Africa, and America. This led to a wide-ranging discussion about the need to let a song breathe and let it be what it is, while also acknowledging the outside influences such as place and even co-writing partners.

George and Bec discussed the crossover from being a worship leader to releasing music outside of the walls of the church and if that is a difficult leap to make. George has always been involved in the music scene outside of the church walls and feels that it depends on your calling. Some people are called to serve the house, others have a more missional aspect to their calling.

George’s new song Not Even Once is playing now on Life FM. You can hear the full chat between George and Bec below.
