Written by on December 9, 2019

A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, is a light hearted and fun film that is perfect for the whole family this summer holidays. With its impressive animation and well scripted plot line, Farmageddon delivers many memorable moments from fan favourite characters.

The tale revisits the Mossy Bottom Farm, where Shaun the Sheep is introduced to a new inter-galactic friend who possesses some unique powers. The unlikely pair team up on an adventure in hope to reconnect Shaun’s new-found friend with her family, all whilst being tracked down by a threatening organisation who are trying to capture the duo.

Although the film has little to no dialogue, directors Will Becher and Richard Phelan successfully communicate with the audience through their clever use of clay animation, along with stop motion apparatus.

Additionally, the film offers both comedic and serious moments which prove to convey life lessons, teaching younger viewers about important values such as friendship and responsibility

Farmageddon is a testament to the success of the Shaun the Sheep television series and is an exciting extension of the Shaun the Sheep franchise. With an official release date of 9th January 2020, the film is sure to be a hit and a must see for all ages.
